Resumo: The tourism development of the Guabizhún lagoon and its influence areas is based on the sustainable use of its natural and cultural tourist attractions as well as the geographical environment, through the design and execution of programs for the management, installation of the adequate tourism plant and infrastructure to support the development of nature tourism, in accordance with the objectives of sustainability as economic, environmental and cultural dimensions of the site and the connectors that regulate the tourist and recreational activities of the area. It is important to emphasize the participation of the communities in the development of the tourist activity can provide a valid alternative to improve local living conditions, undoubtedly help the conservation of natural environments and especially the cultural heritage peoples, through proper planning and control of resources, ecotourism can become an important source of income.
