Resumo: From the nineties, the management and planning of tourist destinations is based on public-private cooperation of the network of tourism agents operating in a territory converted into a tourist area.On the other hand, at present, there is a growing use of new technologies in a generalized manner but especially in the tourism sector where there is talk of digital travelers and social tourists.Starting from both premises, the main objective of this article is to analyze public-private collaboration in the development of technological innovations in tourist destinations, specifically in the case of the Geodestino Ría de Arousa (Galicia, Spain). To this end, interviews were held with responsible public managers and professionals of the tourism sector in the territory in order to achieve the stated objective. In addition, the research is complemented by the analysis of the web pages and the study of the existence of social networks of the tourist entities or products referred to.The results obtained confirm that more and more collaborative structures are emerging between agents, giving rise to entities and tourist products that also use web pages and social media as a channel of promotion. However, there is no daily update of the same and it does not seem that they have a social media strategy defined by what, after the presentation of the results, a proposal is presented for the creation of a web platform in which the agents linked to the tourism sector in that territory, after confirming a favorable climate for the existence of collaboration structures and the presence of them in social media.
