Resumo: This article presents a literature review of recent research on tourism-related gentrification in Spanish cities from both a general and a specific thematic perspective. The study identifies four main areas of interest, and four sub-lines of research within them. The analysis examines the Spanish context in relation to the global debate around these two phenomena, highlighting key areas of concern and interest among specialists in urban studies.
