Resumo: Accessible tourism specializes in providing destinations free of physical, social or communication barriers that can be used by all people, with or without disabilities, including older adults, pregnant women and children; this implies that the tourism value chain is adequate for full enjoyment with equal opportunities. For this reason, the objective of this study is to establish the degree of accessibility that 5-star hotels certified in tourist quality in Bogotá have for the development of accessible tourism, applying an evaluation model for accessibility in hotels through sampling. It was identified that in the city of Bogotá there are still deficiencies in the hotel tourism offer with respect to accessible tourism, and it is hoped that through planned standards and processes, accessibility can be developed little by little in this destination Keywords: Bogotá (Colombia); accessibility; hotels; requirements.
