Resumo: In a context where the crisis imposed by Covid-19 has generated profound changes in the dynamics of the tourism sector, travel agencies are urged to make strategic decisions regarding the distribution channels to use. To do this, the timely evaluation of your distribution systems through a consistent and effective diagnostic methodology is essential. This research is aimed at the meticulous study of various diagnostic models of various kinds, in order to, consequently, propose a methodological procedure applicable to the distribution systems of travel agencies. For this purpose, empirical and theoretical methods were used, which allowed for a comprehensive analysis of this issue. The results made it possible to obtain a diagnostic model, which includes strategic diagnostic procedures and, specifically, the state of commercial distribution management; whose application in travel agencies will help in the definition of problems, expose the high points and generate the base results to propose the corresponding strategic actions.
