Welcome to the website of the Group of Epidemiological Studies and Research in Physical Activity and Health (GEPAF) of the University of São Paulo!
The GEPAF brings together researchers and students interested in the factors that influence the practice of physical activity in populations and in the study of interventions to promote physical activity.
The researchers of the group have mainly worked in two areas:
1. Built environment in cities and relationships with physical activity practice;
2. Promotion of physical activity in the Unified Health System.
The group has open weekly meetings, where scientific papers, projects and research results are discussed (see our agenda).
