The Brazilian Symposium on Software Components, Architectures and Reuse (SBCARS) is a SBC Brazilian symposium which brings together researchers, students and professionals with a wide range of interests in component-based software engineering, software architectures, and software reuse.
Although this symposium is the youngest member of the CBSoft conference, reaching the 5th edition in 2011, it is the successor of a series of six workshops (Brazilian Workshop on Component-Based Development - WDBC) started in 2001.
