Introduction

CBSoft (Brazilian Conference on Software: Theory and Practice) yearly brings together professionals from industry, government and academia to discuss recent developments, trends and innovations related to techniques, technologies and products in the software area.

The Industry Track allows you to share your knowledge and experience with the Brazilian software community. It is also a great opportunity to establish collaborations among different professionals and organizations, as well as stimulate the interaction between academia and industry.

Submit your proposal for a 30 minute presentation. The theme is open: practical experiences or knowledge in the software engineering area applied in industry (or government).

Don’t delay! Submit your proposal as soon as possible. Be sure to pass the word on to your colleagues.

The deadline to submit a presentation proposal is July 17.

How to Submit a Proposal

Prepare um documento contendo:

  • Title. Choose a title that is clear, concise, and that captures the essence of your talk.
  • Abstract. FProvide a description of your talk. Indicate the benefits and main takeaways for the attendants. List also the topics that will be covered (presentation agenda) and a brief summary of each topic.
  • Audience. Indicate what type of professional would benefit most from your talk. Examples: more or less experienced developers, project managers, requirements engineers, software architects, testers, professors. Also indicate whether your talk requires any prerequisite knowledge.
  • Speaker biography. For each speaker, inform his/her education, professional background and current affiliation. If applicable, provide the URL for his/her professional web page. Please indicate prior speaking experience.

Submit the document in PDF format using the JEMS system.


Important Information

Proposals will be evaluated and selected by the Industry Track program committee.

Speakers of accepted presentations must register to the conference.

A computer loaded with Microsoft PowerPoint and a projector will be available to the speakers. Please indicate any other special audio/visual needs in your submission.
